Hate the color blue in Hubpages

The color blue! A real comfort color - so calm, serene and soothing! Blue, the color of the sky, the sparkling ocean, the blueberry pie, the blue-eyed babies and so on and so forth! Sounds great! So what’s the reason for the sudden abhorrence for blue? Hubpages! How so?

Well, I wake up in the morning feeling fresh, happy and full of pep. I admire the clear blue sky, breathe in the fresh crisp morning air, enjoy the splash of water on my face and am at total peace with the world! I start my computer and open Hubpages .I login in and go to my account page. Then it happens! I can feel the adrenaline rush to my head! My eyes glisten with positive hatred! I get a panic attack!I feel like one with traumatic stress disorder. Why? Because, I see oodles of blue arrows all marching down in the Hubpage traffic statistics page – which means fall in traffic of my Hubs. My head swims. I glare at the blue arrows with odium. There’s absolutely no reaction from the blue guys! I’m hoping for a miracle! I’m hoping my blue arrows will turn to red ones and start marching upwards . Miracles do happen in this world. I send a frantic prayer heavenwards asking for divine intervention. Nothing happens, no miracles happen. Why are the blue guys staring back at me? Are they laughing at me? Mocking me? Making me feel so small? Maybe they are teasing me that my traffic is falling?

I stare at my page all blue in the face, when my music system belts out the soulful song Love is blue by Al Martino.Ofcourse I prefer Frank Sinatra but Al Martino is fine as well. I sing along as the words seem to strike a chord with my blue mood! By the way, the words left out are not important to my present mood!

Blue, blue, my world is blue
Blue is my world now….
Gray, gray, my life is gray
Cold is my heart ….

Red, red, my eyes are red
Crying…
Green, green, my jealous heart
...........
I’m sure all the others are having reds!(I cannot help but add my words in the last line!)

Thus, am I not justified in believing that hubpages made me hate blue? See the riot of emotions those blue arrows have whipped up inside me! An absolute acute stress reaction!

With a heavy heart, I see that there are some comments for my hubs! I read them and I can feel my spirit soaring! I feel great! Here, I am in such a great and awesome community who encourage and appreciate my writing while I am wallowing in self pity! Hey..wait..something pops in my head.Whats that?A new idea!No..it’s two..now its three! Gosh, I have to rush! I have to start writing my next hub and then those other two which are lined up in my head!
Any way..before I venture on to my next project..I find solace in the following song,sung to the tune of London bridge is falling down,falling down.

Now I am all charged up with positive energy! Afterall,there is another day,other hubs to be published and hopefully my traffic statistics will soon show only the red guys marching up!I love being part of the community in Hubpages in spite of the color blue!
